Although the vast majority of SCAD patients will recover fully or get very much better with time and healing, tragically, some patients will have a SCAD so severe that there is no hope for survival.
The true extent of SCAD fatalities is unknown. If you would like to talk to someone at Beat SCAD about the loss of your loved one to SCAD, please contact us.
As a charity, we do not currently have the resources to offer comprehensive bereavement services. However, we have compiled a list of resources that we hope you may find helpful.
A key focus for the charity is funding research, with the hope that ultimately there will be improved outcomes for all SCAD patients, resulting in fewer or no deaths from SCAD.
